One of the Great Geothermal Products we offer:

Tranqulity 20™ Series From ClimateMaster

Geothermal systems require only a small amount of electricity to exchanges heat with the earth, saving you money each month on your utility bills

The opposite of anxiety...is Tranquility 20™. Homeowners just like you are growing morre anxious every day as energy prices fluctuate wildly. Even worse, no permanent relief is in sight..

What can you do to protect your family from this costly trend? Reduce your consumption of energy. You can improve your home's "energy efficiency" with improved appliances, more insulation, and newer or fewer windows..but, did you know that over 50% of your utility costs came from heating, cooling, and water heating? Now, that's something you can control...it's called the Tranquility 20™ geothermal system from ClimateMaster.

Using EarthPure® Ozone Safe Refrigerant, the Tranquility 20™ is a breakthrough in efficiency - providing you with the greatest energy savings of any single stage space conditioning system and unprecedented environmental protection at the same time.

  • Low Utility Bills: Components and design so highly evolved make the Tranquility 20™ the most efficient energy saver anywhere.

  • Flexibility: You get heating, central air conditioning, and domestic hot water...three important benefits from a single compact unit.

  • Comfort: An innovative air delivery system that provides maximum comfort year round with optional dehumidification that works in any climate.

  • Safe and Clean: Geothermal heating and cooling has no flame, no flue, no odors, and no danger of fumes.

  • Homeowner Satisfaction: Independent consumer surveys rate geothermal systems as having the highest customer satisfaction compared to other types of heating and cooling systems.

  • Noise-Free Operation: Unlike traditional air conditioners or heat pumps, geothermal units have no noisy outdoor fans to disturb you or your neighbors.

  • System Performance Monitor: Automatic alert system let's you know if the system is not running at peak performance.

  • Long System Life: The elegant yet durable design of the Tranquility 20™ ensures long life, dependable operation and low maintenance. All Tranquility 20™ air coils are specifically treated for longevity.

  • MERV 11: Superior air filtration improves indoor air quality. Compared to traditional fiberglass air filters, the MERV 11 removes up to 9 times more dust, lasts 3 times longer and captures nearly 100% of pollen and spores.

  • Warranty: 10-year limited warranty standard.

About Geothermal/Ground Source Heat Pumps
From "Do It Naturally" by the IGSHPA

Savings--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps can cut your home or business heating and cooling costs by 50% and provide hot water free or at substantial savings.

Durability
--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps last longer than conventional systems because they are protected from harsh outdoor weather. The unit is housed indoors and the loop underground.

Low Maintenance--Geothermal/ ground source heat pumps have fewer mechanical components, making them more reliable and less prone to failure. The ground loop has an expected life of over 50 years and requires no maintenance.

Cleanliness--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps work toward the preservation of the environment by minimizing present environmental problems like acid rain, air pollution and the destruction of the ozone layer.

Low Noise--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps have no exposed, noisy outside units. The unit operates quietly to satisfy your needs without disturbing you or your neighbors.

Conservation-- Geothermal/ground source heat pumps work with the environment by using the earth's moderate ground temperature to heat your home or business in the winter and cool it in the summer.

Flexibility
-- Geothermal/ground source heat pumps can adapt to residential and commercial buildings all across the country. They can be placed in new buildings or used as retrofits in existing buildings.

Benefits of Geothermal /Ground Heat pumps

Geothermal/Ground source heat pumps are self contained systems. The heat pump unit is housed entirely within the building and connected to the outside buried ground loop. These systems offer benefits for:

Consumers--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps offer consumers a heating, cooling, and hot water system that is cost-saving, reliable, efficient, and environmentally sound. The unique flexibility of ground source heat pumps allows them to be used for residential and commercial buildings all across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Ground Source heat pump systems can be installed in new buildings and as retrofits in older buildings.

Utilities
--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps are a proven technology, and are highly efficient. They are fast becoming the most reliable and competitive heating systems available. Ground source heat pump systems help electric utilities stabilize demand loads and become more competitive with other energy sources.

Environment
--Geothermal/ground source heat pumps work with the environment to provide clean, efficient, and energy saving heating and cooling year round. Ground Source heat pumps use less energy than alternative heating and cooling systems, helping to conserve our natural resources. Ground source heat pumps are housed entirely within the building and underground. They are quiet, pollution free and do not detract from the surrounding landscape.

How Geothermal/Ground Source Heat Pump Systems Work

Geothermal/ground source heat pumps are electrically powered systems that take advantage of the earth's relatively constant ground temperature to provide heating, cooling, and hot water for homes and commercial buildings.

F
or closed loop systems, water or an antifreeze solution is circulated through plastic pipes buried beneath the earth'sHorizontal Loop System surface. During the winter, the fluid collects heat from the earth and carries it through the system and into the building. During the summer, the system reverses itself to cool the building by pulling heat from the building, carrying it through the system and placing it in the ground. This process creates free hot water in the summer and delivers substantial hot water savings in the winter.

Open geothermal systems operate on the same principle as closed loop systems and can be installed where an adequate supply of suitable water is available and open discharge is feasible. Benefits similar to the closed loop system are realized.

Loops can be installed three ways: horizontally, vertically, or in a pond/lake. The type chosen will depend on the available land area and the soil and rock type at the installation site. These factors will help determine the most economical choice for installation of the ground loop.

Geothermal/ground source heat pump systems can be used for many different types of buildings. The benefits many residential consumers receive can also be realized by commercial and government consumers. Hospitals, schools, museums, low-income housing projects, government buildings, and small and large commercial buildings can benefit.

Geothermal/ground source heat pump systems use the earth's stored energy to save you money in heating and cooling your home or business. Geothermal/Ground source heat pump systems are kind to the environment as well as being energy efficient and reliable.
